by Ruben Arribas | May 17, 2018 We have been to Singapore a lot since most of the flights going back to the Philippines usually stop here. We always try to spend 2-3 days around the city. It’s the journey not the destination – Ang Mo Kio
Today in Singapore nice walking weather coupled with a feeling of being cooped up made us get up and go exploring. It was rather late when we set off so rather than ride the rails for an hour we picked a park closer to home. The park followed the length of a river so there was plenty to explore and amuse ourselves with.
As we got the end, we realized that we were close to a resevoir so we kept on walking to find it.
An hour of day light to spare we decided why not have little look at the trails too. A few informative signs about the native snakes and lizards got me a bit jumpy but the path was clear and we made it through alright.
Terra Rooftop – Sexy Bar In The City
TGIF (after a hard week) at Terra rooftop bar, located at the spanking new Suntec City Sky Garden in the heart of Singapore’s financial district.
Very chic and happening with lots of eateries and bars accompanied by mesmerising view, and fanned by a cool breeze.
Terra serves bar-food and drinks with Latin American influences; comes with loud music and a resident DJ.
Mexican snacks like stuffed piquillo peppers, patatas bravas, rosemary lamb chops, beef cubes and quesadillas were pretty decent.
But the jar of sangria was watered-down and pricy ar S$60.
Nonetheless, Terra Rooftop Bar is a nice spot to chill after office hours if you are in the vicinity.
